Pa crumpled to the floor and the men in black coats ran onto the stage.

Responding to CK’s focus on her Milky Way poster, and Butch’s whirling thoughts, the images on the screens spun toward the black hole at the Galactic Center, toward twenty-seven degrees of Sagittarius. And went black.

The auditorium was silent.

Two men sprawled empty-handed on the stage.

CK and Butch had vanished.
